An employee of the Supreme court tested positive for Coronavirus triggering alarm among the staffers.
The employee was working with the judicial section of the apex court and attended duty on April 16. He had come in contact with two apex court registrars, who are on self-quarantine as a precautionary measure.
He suffered fever for two days after resuming duty on April 16 and tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday. He has been admitted to a government hospital and is undergoing treatment, the source said, adding that as per the standard protocol, contac tracing will be done.
Recently Rasthapati Bhavan Ebployees unit was also put under quarantine to avoid any possible infections.
