Medulance Launches I-Day CSR Campaign to Train Over 1 Lakh College Students and Faculty in First Aid

Medulance has launched a CSR-driven campaign to integrate first aid training into the curriculum for students aged 12 and above in Delhi schools and colleges.
  • This initiative will target over one lakh  college students and their faculty in Delhi NCR.

  • Medulance is also launching First Aid and Basic Life Support training across private schools in Delhi NCR, aiming to educate over 50 lakh students to become first responders in emergencies. 

 

Delhi, 14.08.2024: In a landmark initiative to mark Independence Day, Medulance, India’s leading emergency services provider, has launched a CSR-driven ‘First Aid Training’ campaign which aims to train over one lakh college students in Delhi NCR. The campaign themed ‘First Aid for a Safer India: Training Our Future Emergency Heroes,’ is set to significantly enhance the safety and preparedness of students across the national capital, while educating them on emergency care. As part of the campaign, Medulance is also launching First Aid and Basic Life Support training across private schools in Delhi NCR, aiming to educate over 50 lakh students to become first responders in emergencies. 

 

The initiative, starting from tomorrow i.e. 15th August 2024 aims to integrate ‘First Aid and Basic Life Support Training’ into the curriculum of students aged 12 and above in Delhi Schools. 

 

The campaign extends its reach to more than 50 colleges across Delhi including prominent institutions like Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies. Through these efforts, Medulance will educate over 70,000 students and faculty members, emphasizing the importance of first aid training and emergency preparedness among young adults.

 

Reflecting on the campaign, Mr. Pranav Bajaj, Co-Founder and CEO, Medulance, stated, "First aid is a critical skill that can save lives. By integrating first aid and basic life support training into the curriculum of Delhi’s schools and colleges, we are not only empowering our students with the knowledge to act in emergencies but also fostering a culture of preparedness and safety. Medulance’s latest campaign underscores the importance of first aid education in fostering responsibility and community among students. Their commitment to emergency preparedness is not new. The company has previously collaborated with industry giants like Zomato, Uber, and others to provide first aid training as part of their broader mission to educate society on handling uncertain situations. This Independence Day campaign is a continuation of their efforts to build a more aware and prepared community.
