In Gujarat, the rate of recovery of COVID-19 patients has improved to 41.62 percent. State Health Department said with 176 patients discharged from hospitals yesterday, the total number of patients recovered from Covid-19 has risen to 5,219. The state reported 398 new cases and 30 deaths yesterday. The total number of Covid-19 cases in the state has risen to 12, 539 yesterday.
At present there are 6,571 patients undergoing treatment for Covid 19 in the different hospitals across the state of which 47 are critical. The situation in the Ahmedabad remains alarming. As many as 602 patients succumbed to the virus in the Ahmedabad district so far. The total number of cases in Ahmedabad rose to 9217 yesterday. Public life in non-containment zone is being normalized with the opening of shops, markets, and transport service.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani sought people’ support in the fight against Covid-19 by launching ‘I am also a Corona Warrior’ campaign . The weeklong campaign which will commence from today is aimed at making people aware about three basic rules to fight coronavirus such as children and elderly citizens should remain indoors, not venturing out without mask and always maintaining social distancing.
In Haryana, 22 people affected with Covid19 were discharged today from various hospitals after recovery while, 12 people were found positive. With this recovery rate in the state has risen to 66.67 percent.
The number of persons cured so far in Haryana has risen to 670. Total number of affected people has reached 1005. Now 321 people are under treatment in the state. 14 corona deaths have been reported till now in the state.
In Rajasthan, 83 people were tested positive for COVID 19 in the state today taking the total number of affected people to 6098. 3421 patients have recovered so far. The number of people under treatment is at 2527.
While today, 28 people were reported positive from Dungarpur, 10 from Udaipur and 8 in Jaipur. 150 people have died due to Corona infection so far in the state. The number of infected persons has increased after the movement of migrants.
