Kolkata, 13th July, 2024: Hazra Park Durgotsab heralded the autumnal ritual with the Khuti Puja today on the auspicious Eve of Ulta Rath Yatra to mark the start of Durga puja proceedings this year at Jatin Das Park (Hazra crossing). Hazra Park Durgotsab is one of the eye catcher puja of the city for its innovative concept and celebration style. This Puja is particularly famous for its unique style of pandals and also for the social work which the committee carries out throughout the year.

The occasion was glittered by the presence of various eminent personalities like: Sri. Sovandeb Chattopadhyay, Minister of Agriculture, Govt of WB; Sri. Debasish Kumar, MLA; Sri. Sayan Deb Chatterjee, Joint Secretary of Hazra Park Durgotsab Committee; Smt. Trina Saha, Actress & many other eminent personalities.

Hazra Park Durgotsab on the eve of Ulta Rath marked the heralding of the Durga Puja with the presence of renowned personalities with Dhaks playing alongside. This year, the festival enters its 82nd edition with grandeur and creativity, promising an unforgettable experience for all attendees.

Speaking to the media, Sri. Sayan Deb ChatterjeeJoint Secretary of Hazra Park Durgotsab Committee said, “After the huge success of the 81st year with its theme as "Teen Chakar Golpo" where we received multiple awards, the entire team of Hazra Park Durgotsab is fully charged up for this year.
