Yesterday Sanofi announced 66% cut in the prices of Rifapentine for Tuberculosis patients at 50th Union World Conference of Lung health.This announcement comes after disruption of the event by activists and TB patients on Wednesday.High price of TB drug leads in more medication drop and drug resistant patients.

The rate slash would help millions of patients in India.Sanofi also announced of helping other countries inflicted with TB and support GOI mission to eradicate TB by 2025
