Tips to improve the sleep cycle during the summer season

How many times have you probably heard people say that even after sleeping for 8 to 9 hours, one feels tired and restless? This is a complaint not only of yours but of most of the people in today's time. Complaints of uncomfortable sleep increase tenfold in summer. This is also because often the reason for lack of sleep is mental stress, anxiety, and depression, etc. 

Due to lack of sleep, a person feels irritable and constantly tired. Good sleep refreshes your mind and repairs your muscles. But when this does not happen, it can cause many health problems for you. But very few people know about the correct sleep cycle. But it has a very important role in health.

Good food is also necessary along with a sleep cycle (Balanced Diet)

We all know about caffeine, a sleep-disturbing chemical. It increases the level of cortisol (stress) in our bodies. Therefore, drinking tea before sleeping should be avoided. Similarly, high-fat foods can disrupt your sleep cycle. 

Instead of late-night coffee, consume water-rich fruits like melon and melon. Take more fluids in your meals. Honey or Almond and Mix Seeds can also be consumed before sleeping. Similarly, milk also contains high amounts of melatonin – the sleep-inducing hormone, which helps to relax the muscles. It contains magnesium and potassium. Its use improves the sleep cycle.

Exercise for a Good Sleep Cycle

Exercise helps you stay healthy for a long time. Many studies show that exercising can significantly improve the quality of people's sleep. Regular exercise not only helps in keeping your body fit but also reduces stress. 

Exercise done for about 30 minutes can prove to be miraculous for your physical and mental development. But yes, avoid doing any high-intensity exercise before sleeping. Instead, go for a rest or light physical activity such as cycling. This will greatly improve your sleep cycle.

Keep Yourself Hydrate

Since, due to excessive sweating during the summer season, there is a lack of water in the body. There is also a shortage of water. Which can be a reason for not sleeping. Therefore it is very important to change this habit quickly. 

Ideally, an average person should drink at least 2.5 liters of water a day. However, taking cognizance of persistent sweating, drink extra water even when you are not thirsty. But avoid drinking too much before you sleep, otherwise, you may have to go to the bathroom more often.

Listen to Slow Music

Taking a warm bath and listening to music before sleeping is considered a very good option for good sleep. This will also give a peaceful environment to your mind. Bath can refresh your mood. Music is considered a good sleeping therapy for good sleep.
