Lucknow and all districts affected in Uttar Pradesh with Covid19

Joint commissioner of police (JCP), Law and Order, Naveen Arora reported,2745 people had come in contact with 56 coronavirus positive patients, excluding 31 who tested positive on Wednesday.

The JCP said one of the 28 people who tested positive in Sadar area had participated in a community kitchen organised in the area while another patient was a tailor who came in contact with multiple people. Additionally one Covid-19 positive person had a travel history to Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Naidu and Maharashtra, he added.

Corona positive cases have now been found in all 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh. In the only remaining district of Chandauli, an infected person has been found on Wednesday. 116 new corona were found infected in the state on Wednesday and one person died. With this, a total of 3758 patients have been found in the state so far, while 87 people have died. So far 1965 infected people have been discharged. The maximum number of patients found so far in the state is 48.2 percent i.e. 1783 youth between 21 and 40 years. The same 26.1 percent i.e. 965 people in the age group of 41 to 60 are corona positive. 17.6 percent of newborn children up to the age of 20 are ill. The same 7.9 percent of the elderly are corona infected.

37 out of 1524 samples tested in the Department of Microbiology of King George Medical University (KGMU) in Lucknow on Wednesday. These include 15 Lucknow, 10 Kannauj and Kanpur and Farrukhabad 6-6 infected people. However, their final report will be released by the CMO only. Because many patients have been re-examined in them. A laborer in Alambagh, Lucknow, has been found corona infected. It reached Lucknow from another district by bus. With this, a corona positive person has died in Meerut Medical College in Ghaziabad. Eight in Meerut and one in Unnao have been found corona positive.


The corona bomb exploded once again in Moradabad and eight corona infected patients were found in a single day. One patient reported in the morning while the other seven reported after noon. There was so much corona positive case that the health department was taken aback by the spread. On Tuesday  four Corona positives were found, of which two were repeat cases. The total number of corona-infected patients in Moradabad has now increased to 133 with the addition of eight other patients. However, 89 of these people have recovered and gone to their homes. Five people have also died due to corona virus infection so far.
