How does monkeypox virus infection spread?

Monkeypox virus infection has spread in 19 countries of the world and many health agencies around the world including the World Health Organization are warning people about its danger. However, all the data and studies are also indicating that the possibility of spreading monkeypox infection in India is less compared to other countries. Monkeypox is an orthopox virus that acts similar to smallpox. You may experience symptoms of chickenpox if you are infected with monkeypox. According to the information available, the infection of monkeypox is spread by coming in close contact with the infected person. If a person is infected with monkeypox and you have skin-to-skin contact with him, then you can also get this infection. Many other health agencies, including the CDC, are also pointing out that monkeypox infection has spread rapidly in some Western countries due to gay sex. However, no concrete evidence has been found so far in this regard.
