Our diet has a profound effect on our health. In today's hectic life, the trend of processed and junk food is increasing. Due to this diseases are also increasing. A plant-based diet includes only plant food such as fruits, vegetables, legumes, nuts, seeds, whole grains, etc. Even dairy products are not included in this. 

There are two types of a plant-based diet

100% plant-based diet that includes only plant-derived foods, and a flexible plant-based diet that can occasionally include dairy or meat. This type of diet has a low BMI index as well as lower cholesterol levels

Plant-based diet slows down the process of kidney diseases. This diet is safe for kidney patients. Patients with chronic kidney disease can also follow this diet.
