Influx of migrant workers back from high risk zones poses threat to all the states ,right now Andhra Pradesh,Telengana and Bihar is facing the heat

There has been a surge in novel coronavirus cases in Andhra Pradesh and Telanagana, after the arrival of the migrant labour from the neighboring states of Maharastra and Gujarat.

While  25 workers have tested positive till now in Telangana, 37 new cases have been recognized in Andhra Pradesh. These workers entered the state through the Shramik Special trains.

With the influx of migrant workers from high-hazard zones like Maharashtra, Gujarat and Rajasthan, the quantity of cases is probably going to rise further.

Andhra Pradesh Special Chief Secretary (Health, Medical and Family Welfare) KS Jawahar Reddy said,with the incoming load of migrant workers,Corona threat has placed another test before the state with more than 930 passengers showing up from Kalyan in Mumbai in the special train ,28 among them tested positive for coronavirus.

More than 10 passengers who showed up from Varanasi and 30 with a movement history in the Koyambedu market of Chennai also tested positive.
