We have got different problems, challenges in the healthcare system like affordability, availability, and accessibility. But at the same time, we have got a lot of start-ups who are offering the right solutions to these kinds of problems and challenges. In Medicircle, we are conducting a Healthcare Start-up series wherein we are featuring start-ups all over India and how they can benefit from their products and offerings.

Importance of dental health
Dr. Vinod expresses, “People don’t give importance to dental health. The mouth is the first entrance to our general health. For overall general health, it is important to maintain good oral health first. Dental problems are the most chronic disease in the whole world. For dental health, prevention is better than cure. We all should visit the dentist to ascertain often.
Dental Health Organisation
Dr. Vinod explains, “We are the only organization that is dedicated to dental health. The aim is to create awareness as the priority. We are living in the digital world and keeping a digital record has become a basic need. The digital platform which we are offering helps you to have a single record. You have to just register through the app. In the future anytime, if you visit any dentist, you can show all your previous dental records through your app. Even dentists can access your records. We capture all your initial records and update them in records and then you can access them anytime anywhere.
Special features - Ensures the best treatment with transparency
Dr. Vinod emphasizes, “We handhold the patient throughout their treatment process. First, your report is being assessed by the senior doctor team, then that team refers the patient to the right specialist dentist nearby your house. We ensure that you receive the right treatment as the process is completely transparent. We mainly focus on prevention which is our key factor. We also work with school children so that our future generation is safe and aware of basic oral hygiene. We give personalized attention and maintain transparency in our offering so that no one feels cheated.
Customized treatment plans
Dr. Vinod speaks, “Most of the current diseases are lifestyle diseases which are because of our inappropriate or unhealthy lifestyle like diabetes, BP. Consuming refined foods, packaged foods, carbonated drinks, and physical inactiveness are the real culprits of lifestyle diseases. We keep records of healthy people also and convey oral hygiene tips to them timely. Brushing, flossing, tongue cleaning are some of the important oral hygiene procedures. We are trying to access the best oral hygiene products in the Indian market. Based on the reports, we customize the treatment plans and oral hygiene care. Thus, our digital connect will create awareness through India as smartphones have even penetrated rural India. We have proposed the Government of India mandate dental records as the third Aadhaar. Dental Health Organization also works with the government and ensures the supply of manpower to rural places also. We also create job opportunities for the dental communities as well because of digital transformation.
Dental Health Organisation solves the healthcare challenges
Dr. Vinod says, “We have complete Electronic Dental Health Records complying to standards (HIPAA, ICD-10, CDT-7) and perform X-rays of our teeth, we get to know the teeth and bones structures. From this report, we can ascertain the exact problem of any individual and can guide them for the best treatment. Along with this, we also guide them with preventive measures to be taken to avoid such problems in the future. Everything is done online (digitally) only once a physical requirement is needed at the time of registration. This way we have solved the problem of availability and accessibility of the healthcare sector. People need to change their attitude towards dental health and should visit a dentist at least once every six months."
What motivates Dental Health Organisation
Dr. Vinod mentions, "The whole idea is focussing on the next generation to be healthy. As dental problems are chronic and can lead to an unhealthy future.
Valuable advice from a dentist
Dr. Vinod advises, "Parents should ensure that the child is not watching any electronic gadget while having food. This distracts them from mindful eating. They should chew the food perfectly for 15-20 minutes and then engulf. We are also reaching out to schools to create awareness regarding oral hygiene among students. Not chewing the food perfectly can spoil a child's innocent smile too. Bones and muscles will not develop properly. Our future should be healthy and young children are our future. Try to eat a lesser quantity of food which is properly chewed. To get wisdom teeth, jaws should first grow and accommodate them and for this chewing food is very much essential. So, we all should incorporate healthy eating and dental habits.
