Patients with diabetes should be careful during fasting. In such a situation, today we will tell you in this article what food in diabetes should be eaten by diabetic patients during fasting.

Many people will keep fast to detox the body. Keeping fast is so important in diabetes, along with keeping fast, the toxic substances of the body are removed.

Generally, people who keep fast are aware of what kind of food they should eat, but diabetic patients do not know what type of food they should consume during the fast. 

Keep fast but don't stay hungry for long

Keeping fast is a good thing but they say no, too much of anything is not good, it is the same in the case of fasting. Being hungry all day during the fast can be harmful. Especially for diabetic patients, it is not right to starve for a long time while fasting. Diabetic patients must eat something or the other in short intervals during the fast. By doing this your glucose level will be under control.

Diabetic patients should do such a diet during the fast so that they get energy and at the same time keep calories under control. Diabetic patients should take a regular diet in small amounts. By doing this the strength of the body will not be reduced and at the same time weakness will not be felt.

Diabetic patients should not eat these things during fasting

If diabetic patients are fasting, then keep distance from sweet fruits, sweets, or sweet fruits (food to avoid in diabetes), do not consume them. Also do not eat fried food. By doing this, the amount of both fat and glucose in the body increases. Keep a proper distance from tea and coffee too, if you want to consume then do it in limited quantity.

Eat a high fiber and high protein diet in food Take toned milk without sugar in milk If you want to eat bread, then eat bread made of kattu flour. Try to have low-fat and low carbohydrate food. Strictly abstain from sweets and consume rock salt.

Patients taking insulin during fasting should keep adjusting the insulin dose. This is because the insulin requirement can be reduced by up to 40 percent during fasting.
