Healthcare startup FutureCure has raised $4 million in their Series A funding round led by RVCF India Growth Fund, Unicorn India Ventures, Kotak Investment Advisors Limited, and others.
Founded by Rajneesh Bhandari and Dr Anita Bhandari, the venture is aiming to cure chronic diseases like migraine, vertigo, dizziness and more. They have a wearable Neuromodulation and Biofeedback solution along with an app that will help assess patient metrics. They have partnered and treated patients at more than 150 clinics.
Using AI, the venture can then understand the riggers of migraine and offer lifestyle modifications to help eliminate this chronic disease. They also provide Cognitive Behavioral Therapy on their app. Migraine, dizziness and other health conditions are often ignored in the healthcare space. This space is littered with startups trying to solve diabetes, heart disease and other major diseases. This makes FutureCure the leader in providing on-demand diagnostic and treatment for migraine and dizziness.
With the funds, the startup plans to develop the technology further, get FDA approval and expand its global presence. An estimated 12% of the population suffers from migraine making it more prevalent than even diabetes, of which India is considered the Capital. Worse is that migraine affects people ages from 20 to 50, which are the prime years of their career.
