Get a really good preventive lifestyle with all herbal products by Naturefit

Avneet Bhatia is the Founder & CEO of Naturefit a Mumbai-based preventive healthcare startup. Naturefit is an app-based digital platform that brings complementary and alternative therapies all in one place along with all-natural products. Naturefit guides users towards natural therapies and herbal products in healthcare, food, grocery and beauty.

More about Naturefit

Naturefit has 3 primary pillars that are healing, shop and connect.

In the healing sector, the patient connects to a nearby practitioner whose first mode of treatment would be natural and without medication. Ayurveda, yoga and homoeopathy are the primary objectives that NatureFit offers. There is everything from the patient to the doctor for medicines, consultation, prescriptions and reminders. Also, there is everything from doctors to the patient, so the doctors can manage everything on software like appointments and prescriptions.

The second sector is the shop sector in which there are 10,000+ organic natural products under one roof and a solid collection of 150+ brands for user’s consumption to choose from.

The third sector is connected, wherein Naturefit has created a community for people who are into a natural lifestyle. To know and share more about moving towards healthy living.

The main focus is to make people move towards preventive lifestyles and health and to introduce the Indian system of medicine and the natural way of healing along with a modern wrapping around it.

Naturefit's challenges with herbal products

Avneet Bhatia states “It's our onus and responsibility to ensure that the practitioners, doctors, brands and products that are onboarding on our platform are the best quality-wise. We formulated our criteria of the brands and products to be onboarded. We have very strict criteria as we look at a lot of specifications like GMP, AYUSH and ORGANIC CERTIFICATION before we onboard any brand. 100% herbal or 100% natural items are very difficult to find.”

USP of Naturefit

Naturefit has created an entire ecosystem around herbal products. Products are just one part of it. Several international patients find yoga practitioners at Naturefit. Additionally, there are Pan India patients who are trying to find qualified ayurvedic doctors. Naturefit claims to provide End-to-end service effectively. They also undertake product shipping for providing better convenience to the customers.

The customer base of Naturefit

In the last 10 months, Naturefit has acquired more than 30,000+ users. 4,000+ practitioners giving consultation on a daily basis. They have a 10,000 and more product offering. They have been conducting health camps and associating with corporates. The first and foremost objective is to make people aware and build their confidence that the patient will get the right quality and standard on the platform. There is a lot of demand internationally for services provided by Naturefit and since the international market is soaring, they are in a very good spot. Covid has been a boon for the AYUSH industry or natural end products as people are much more aware of the importance of healthcare.

Avneet Bhatia states “We are not here to provide you with medicines, we are here to make sure that you won't need medicine. We are getting a great reception from the co-operates and common people as they all are looking for a service, where we spend time with them so that they don't get dependent on medicines”.

Is Naturefit funded or bootstrapped?

At present, Naturefit is bootstrapped, but they have got into the process of raising capital to fuel the next phase of our group.

Revenues earned by Naturefit

Currently, Naturefit has earned a revenue of 75 lakhs from January to October. They plan to touch 2Cr to 2.5Cr by end of 2022.

Goals and future expansion plans of Naturefit

Geographical area expansion is on the mind of Naturefit. They plan to expand to other metro cities and international countries. Naturefit has opened its portal and services while focusing on campaigns for international patients. Pan India, they are already open to offering service for products and consultations. Adding a lot of synergy to the services currently being practised. They are also going to start wellness tourism and last but not least, they wish to add more services to their portfolio.

Piece of learning

There will be challenges as well as ups and downs in the entrepreneurial journey. Be aware of every bit of your business at the ground level. It's a wonderful experience to create something and solve people’s problems.
