A stressful incident causes a rush of hormones, including adrenaline and cortisol, to flow through the body, whether it be the sudden appearance of a snake on the path or the fear of losing your job when the boss yells.

Stress is the response to feeling unable to handle particular demands or circumstances. However, if a person does not take action to control it, stress can develop into a chronic condition.

These hormones speed up heartbeat and blood flow to enable instant action, release fat and sugar for immediate adrenaline, concentrate attention to spot danger, get muscles ready for movement, and more.

According to, National Center for Biotechnology Information, “As of April 18, there were approximately 23,00,000 cases reported from across the globe.”
