Mudra for digestion: To be healthy, it is necessary to have a strong digestive system. A weak digestive system causes many diseases. People try many remedies to improve the digestive system, but the effect is not visible. If you wish, you can improve the digestive system by practicing certain yoga postures daily in the morning. 

  1. Pushan Mudra

Practicing Pushan Mudra is a better option to improve the digestive system. By doing this daily, the problem of flatulence, nausea, and indigestion goes away. To do Pushan Mudra, first sit in Padmasana. Place both your hands on your thighs. During this, the palms should be towards the sky. After this, press the tips of the thumb, forefinger, and middle fingers together with the right hand. Keep both the other fingers straight. Simultaneously, join the tip of the middle and ring the fingers of your left hand with the thumb. Keep the spine straight in this position. Take a deep breath and meditate.


  1. Prana Mudra

Prana mudra pacifies the excessive fire of pitta. According to Ayurveda, there is a need to balance pitta in the body. Because it affects the digestive system. For this you can practice Prana Mudra. To do this, sit in Padmasana. Now join the tip of your ring finger and little finger with the tip of the thumb. Keep the middle and index fingers straight. You can do this mudra for 10 minutes. Take long deep breaths in it and meditate.


  1. Apana Mudra

Apana mudra is very beneficial in strengthening the digestive system. By doing this mudra daily, one gets relief from gas and indigestion. To do this mudra, first, sit in Sukhasana. Place your hands on your knees. The palms should be facing the sky. Now join the ends of your middle and ring fingers with the end of the thumb. Keep the other two fingers straight.


  1. Sahaj Agnisar Mudra

To practice this posture, first sit in Sukhasana. Keep your waist and spine straight. Pay attention to your breath. Now place both your palms on the stomach. Keep the palms towards the navel. With all four fingers of both your hands, apply light pressure on the stomach. Press the abdominal muscles down. Breathe in and out during this. 


  1. Garuda Mudra

To do Garuda Mudra, first, place the right palm in such a way that the fingers of both hands do not cover each other. Take 10 deep breaths and release. Bring your palms to the navel, then inhale and exhale 10 times. Now do the same by keeping the palms on the chest. You can repeat this process for 4-5 minutes.


Pranayama is also necessary


To improve the digestive system, along with doing mudra daily, it is also necessary to do pranayama and yoga. By doing pranayama, the lungs become strong, the digestive system also becomes strong. Doing Pranayama on an empty stomach daily gives relief from gas, indigestion, constipation, and acidity.
