5 Healthy drinks that cleanses liver naturally - Medicircle

The liver is the most important organ of our body. For the healthy functioning of the liver, it is important to feed healthy foods to the body. Here are some healthy drinks that promote the cleansing process of the liver.

The liver carried out some very important functions of our body like activating enzymes, detoxification, and regulating nutrients. The liver is also responsible for secreting bile juice that helps in the digestion and metabolism of the body. It is the only organ in our body that cleanses itself. The liver carries out more than 500 lifesaving functions daily, hence it becomes important to take extra care of our liver by including some healthy foods that promote its cleansing process.  

Turmeric tea

Turmeric is antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant that aid detoxification and increase the production of enzymes. Turmeric enhances the body's blood circulation, thus promoting liver health.

Coffee

Coffee helps kick start our day and provides the much-needed energy. Coffee contains caffeine which is a CNS stimulant. However, excess consumption of caffeine has its own disadvantages. Hence moderation is the key strategy. Taking coffee in the right quantity can promote liver health. Moderate consumption of coffee can help prevent liver diseases. Coffee reduces fatty deposition in the liver and increases the production of glutathione rich in antioxidant properties.

Beetroot juice

Beetroot is rich in antioxidants and nutrients such as folate, pectin, betalains, and betaine. It also contains a sufficient amount of fiber, manganese, potassium, vitamins A, and vitamin C. All these nutrients help improve the production of bile juice which helps remove the toxic waste from our body. 

Green tea

We are all aware of the benefits of green tea by now. Green tea is rich in antioxidants, aids weight loss, and improves our brain function. Consumption of green tea and little exercise might help promote liver health. Our body processes nutrients differently (in a more effective manner) if we do physical activity along with consuming green tea.

Amla juice

It is full of antioxidants, anti-inflammatory properties, vitamin C and several essential nutrients. These properties help flush out toxins from the body and support liver health. Amla taken in the right quantity can prevent many liver-related disorders.
