In Maharashtra, a total of 5,36197 people were vaccinated for covid19. Till date, 4,81,607 health workers and 54,590 frontline workers were vaccinated.

According to an official statement, yesterday, 515 sessions of vaccinations were organised in which 23,721 people were vaccinated, out of which 153 beneficiaries received Covaxine.

Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope said that in the third phase, people above the age of 50 and those under 50 with co-morbidities will be vaccinated. He said the registration process for the same is likely to begin from March 1.
