Among nuts, walnuts are considered the king. It is often considered brain food. Regular consumption of walnuts helps in protecting the heart, losing weight, providing protection against diabetes and cancer, and also enhancing the quality of sleep.

Health benefits of walnuts

Improves metabolism - Consuming walnuts improves the metabolism in the body. Walnuts - a good source of minerals like manganese, copper, potassium, calcium, iron, magnesium, zinc, and selenium together with EFAs, supports metabolic activities like growth and development, sperm generation, digestion, and nucleic acid synthesis.  

Good for the heart - Walnuts are a rich source of omega - 3 fatty acids and are loaded with essential fatty acids like linoleic acid, alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), and arachidonic acids help in preventing heart diseases by aiding healthy lipids.
