The Covid-19 Case Fatality rate of Bengaluru city is the lowest at 1.1 percent among all the major cities in India.

The Covid-19 Case Fatality rate of Bengaluru city is the lowest at 1.1 percent among all the major cities in India.

Karnataka Health and Medical Education Minister Dr. K Sudhakar have tweeted that Bengaluru which holds the highest caseload in the state, has improved its position today with the lowest fatality rate among major cities in the country. 

The city’s recovery rate stands at a healthy 93.94 percent with 3,36,880 recoveries and 17,707 active cases as on yesterday.
 
The active rate in the state capital is 4.93 percent. At the state level, 1336 new Covid cases and 2100 recoveries were reported yesterday. There are 25,323 Active cases in the state with 693 persons in the ICU. The positivity rate at the state level is 1.77 percent and case fatality rate is 1.19 percent.

 
It conducted 75384 Covid 19 tests yesterday, out of which 61992 were RT PCR tests. There are 78 private labs and 42 Government labs conducting the Covid tests in the state.
