In Aurangabad, a 30-year-old pregnant woman suffering from Kovid-19 gave birth to a baby girl through surgery. According to gynecologist Dr. Kamlakar Mudkhedkar, this is the first such case in the state, when this success was achieved through surgery.

Mudkhedkar said that his team had made special preparations for this, under which his colleagues underwent protective clothing and underwent surgery for about 30 minutes. He said that the newborn is healthy and weighs 3.2 kg. He said that samples of the girl's saliva have been sent for examination and the report is awaited.
