Medical Education Minister Amit Deshmukh said that this app needs to be used more and more to keep track of covid patients, diagnose them and treat them in time. He has appealed all the deans and doctors of the MED to take initiative for it

Wary of the health related problems noticed in people who have recuperated from Covid-19, Maharashtra's Medical Education department has developed an app named Covid Kavach to guide patients.

The app helps an individual in problem solving of their health with the guidance of the expert from the medical field. AIR correspondent reports that people who recover from Covid - 19 tend to face various problems such as blood clots, difficulty in breathing, kidney disease, among others.


The Covid Kavach app has been developed to provide relief to such people. Concerned individuals can submit their problem on this app.
 
After that, experts from government medical colleges in the state give advice through SMS to help the person overcome his difficulty. In each hospital, an expert will also be deployed to guide such patients.
