In Meghalaya, 26 new COVID-19 cases were detected today taking the total active cases to 1,196, while 113 COVID-19 patients recovered. Health Minister A L Hek informed media that out of 26 new cases, 14 are from East Khasi Hills district, four from East Jaintia Hills district, five from West Garo Hills district, one each from West Khasi Hills, Ri-Bhoi and South West Garo Hills district.

Out of the 113 patients who recovered today 80 are from East Khasi Hills district, 26 from West Garo Hills, two each from Ri-Bhoi and North Garo Hills and three from East Jaintia Hills district. So far the total number of recovered cases in Meghalaya stands at 1,162. With 1,196 active cases, 1,162 recovered and ten deceased the total number of confirmed cases in Meghalaya stands at 2,368.

In Mizoram, three new Corona virus cases were detected and five patients discharged after recovery in the last 24 hours.
With this, the total number of COVID-19 cases reached 1,011 in the state. According to the official statement, so far 589 patients have been discharged after recovery while 422 patients are presently undergoing treatment.

In Manipur, 152 new COVID-19 cases including 19 from the Central Armed Police Force were reported in the last 48 hours while 53 persons were discharged. Among the new cases, 101 locals do not have significant travel history. All the new cases are being shifted to the COVID Care facilities.

The cumulative number of positive cases in Manipur is 6,112 including 1,560 Central Security Personnel. The cumulative number of recovered cases is 4,239 while the active cases are 1,845. So far the pandemic has claimed 28 lives in the State.

In Nagaland, 109 COVID-19 patients have recovered while 71 news cases have been detected yesterday. The recovery rate of Coronavirus in the State has improved to 76.93%.

The total number of COVID-19 cases has reached 3,922, out of which, 887 are active cases. A total of 3,017 people have recovered from the diseases, while 8 have lost their lives so far.
