DMs and SPs have been instructed in this regard.
 
This decision was taken at a meeting of the crisis management group headed by chief secretary Deepak Kumar.
 

The Chief Secretary said campaigning on wearing masks has been launched.
 
Stern action will be taken against those who violate the instructions.
 
Vehicles will be seized if drivers and travelers will be found without masks.
 
This will apply to all vehicles including cars, bike,s, and bicycles.
 
Shops will be sealed if shopkeepers and customers are found without a mask.

 
Meanwhile, the COVID-19 recovery rate has improved to 97.25 percent.
 
This is 3.57 percent more than the national average.
 
The number of active cases in the state is continuously declining.
 
Currently, 5,515 patients are undergoing treatment at various hospitals.
 
In all, 480 patients recovered in the last 24 hours while 412 new cases were reported.
 
Over 2,24,701 patients have so far recovered from the infection in the state.
