Goa which is largely a tourism dependant State would be by far worst hit in the Coronavirus pandemic and the State Ports Minister Michael Lobo says that this particular can only be opened up after the lockdown is lifted and COVID-19 spread is absolutely under control.
Prudently handled thus far this coastal State has only seven Coronavirus cases. Lobo specifically mentions that any mass gathering will be strictly discouraged for a couple of months to contain the spread of the deadly infection.
He further suggests, even after the State government resumes tourism, travelers should be scanned with clinical precision at the airport and railway stations, and all other entry points. The BJP MLA from North Goa would present his suggestion to CM Dr. Pramod Sawant on April 14.
