India’s leading ridesharing company, Ola appreciably partners with Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) to support vital mobility during the lockdown due to curb COVID-19 spread. Ola dedicated a fleet of cars to BMC to help ferry doctors, BMC officials, medical staff, healthcare workers and paramedical staff to and fro across Mumbai hospitals.
According to the Health Minister of Maharashtra, Rajesh Tope government has undertaken this arrangement to ease the mobility of ‘hundreds of frontline workers to help them perform their essential duties’.
According to Anand Subramanian, spokesperson of Ola this the partnership will play a vital role in giving mobility to the COVID-19 warriors who are helping to save us in crucial and testing times.
