Pakistan confirms 272 fresh cases of COVID-19 that nears the total number to 6,000 according to Pakistan’s Health Ministry. To prevent the country from the spread of the Coronavirus Prime Minister Imran Khan extends the lockdown till the end of the month. According to the Health Ministry, 11 fatalities have been reported along with 272 fresh cases which raise the total count to 5988. Pakistan’s Punjab is the hotspot with 2945 cases followed by Sindh with 1518, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa 865, Balochistan 240, Gilgit-Baltistan 236, Islamabad 140, PoK 46. Reportedly 1,446 have recovered and 107 lives are lost to COVID-19.
