Cut extra calorie intake, go for short walks during office hours, say experts.

Is your job a desk job? Do you spend long hours working in front of a computer? While you cannot separate work from your life in today’s times, it’s important to maintain a work-wellness balance to remain in pink of health.

Working round the clock makes it hard to maintain a proper diet and remain healthy. Lack of work out due to lack of time leads to extra weight gain, unwanted calories, and some serious health issues. According to experts finding the right balance is key to staying healthy in this fast-paced world.

Avoiding junk and processed food, aerated drinks and carbohydrate-rich foods may prove beneficial. Opt for healthier options like salads, nuts and fruits. Drinking lots of water keeps your body hydrated, a must for living a healthy life. Taking meals in smaller quantities and after specific intervals. Never eat more than what you feel like. Do mild stretching and go for short walks during office hours. Get up twice or thrice in couple of hours and go for a stroll.

Choose a healthy snack. Let your body guide you. Calories are essential for health but it should be as per your daily routine. Having juices and green smoothies at work will also keep you fit and energetic.
