Saifee Hospital Wins Elets Healthcare Excellence Award For Technology Integration

Saifee Hospital was conferred with the Leading Technology Integrated Hospital award at the Elets Healthcare Excellence Awards 2019, held in Mumbai. The hospital bagged the award for its recently launched patient support app 'Chektrust Pal (CTPAL)'. The award ceremony, organised by Elets Technomedia as a part of its Annual Healthcare Innovation Summit, recognises and rewards exemplary work done by healthcare providers in the area of technology, innovation and research.

Saifee Hospital has designed a one-of-its-kind mobile application 'Chektrust Pal (CTPAL)' to enhance patient experience. Patients receive a web link to download the app as soon as they complete the registration process. The app serves like a handbook of the hospital, providing end-to-end information about the hospital's services, facilities, rules and regulations, doctors and support staff. Patients can seek assistance as well as schedule appointments through the app.

It also guides patients like a map with real-time navigation/directions to different service departments and spaces in and around the hospital. In the future, the hospital is also planning to introduce a feature where patients can clear their medical bills through the app after completing the discharge procedure. The USP of this application is that it requires no mobile storage space since it is a web-based application. Once the patient is discharged, the link gets deactivated.

Commenting on this achievement, Mr. Huzefa Merchant, IT Manager, Saifee Hospital, said, "We are extremely humbled and honoured to have received this award for our efforts towards bettering the healthcare regime in India by leveraging technology. The success of CTPAL as a unique app is a testament to our consistent efforts to provide quality healthcare facilities to our patients. As a leading healthcare service provider, we understand the needs of our patients and constantly strive to innovate and upscale our service offerings."
