The question is, what option do people with acne have? How many times a day should they do face wash? Don't worry, because we are here to help you with this. In this article, we will learn about how many times a day you should do face wash if you have acne problems.

In the summer season, the skin needs special attention. Due to strong sunlight and high temperature, the skin these days sweats a lot and the skin also becomes oily. Skin-related problems are very common in the summer season. These days the risk of sunburn, acne, infection, etc. increases. For people who already have acne-prone skin problems or those who have oily skin, their problems get worse during the summer season. To avoid this, people wash their face again or clean the skin repeatedly with a cleanser. But they do not know that repeatedly using face wash or cleanser on the skin can also do a lot of damage to their skin. It may even make their acne problem worse.

Let us first know how frequent washing of the face is harmful?

  • By washing your face frequently, the signs of aging start showing on your face quickly. Due to dryness, the stretch in the skin increases, due to which wrinkles start appearing.
  • There may be a problem with dark circles under the eyes.
  • Due to frequent face wash, dryness increases in the skin, due to which the glow of the skin starts to fade.
  • Frequent washing of the face reduces the number of this microflora and causes your skin to lose its natural glow.
  • Using chemical face wash every time can also cause skin irritation and itching.
  • The moisture of the skin is stripped, due to which the skin starts looking dry. Frequent washing of the face removes the sebum present on the skin and makes your skin dry. Dry skin increases the chances of getting pimples and skin infections.
  • Washing your mouth frequently worsens the pH level of your skin. Due to this habit for a long time, your skin starts looking old.

How many times a day should I wash my face?

If you have acne on your skin or you have acne-prone skin, then you should not wash your face more than 2 to 3 times a day. Even if you have oily skin, blackheads, or whiteheads and you feel sticky, then you should avoid using the heavy face wash. Also, do not exfoliate the skin or do not over-cleansing. Because it damages the protective barrier of the skin and you can be prone to infections, allergies, rashes, and even more acne problems than before.

If you experience a lot of dirt, sweat, and oily skin on the skin, then instead of washing the skin again with face wash or cleaning it with cleanser, you can use a thermal water mist and Keep spraying the skin after sweating throughout the day. This will get rid of sweat, oil, and grime.
