In todays world, booking an appointment with a Doctor and getting prescribed with medicines and lab tests done almost take a half day. It becomes more hectic for working people to take a half or full day off from their important work.

Athancare is a Delhi based start-up founded by Achal Kumar Singhal, with the sole aim of improving the effectiveness of private/public clinics for out-patient care. They are providing patients with an impeccable clinic experience by implementing out-of-the-box patient engagement methodology. Today, it is serving 2500 patients a day with over 300 registered clinics.

In today’s world, booking an appointment, getting consulted, purchasing medicines and giving blood samples can take anyone over four to six hours. For a lot of us, this means sacrificing half-day off from work.

AthanCare is working with doctors across 6 cities including Delhi NCR and transforming their traditional clinics into smart clinics thus reducing patient’s time spent to an hour. They are achieving this by implementing a unique business solution build upon the SaaS platform to automate clinic workflow without any major behavioural change. It provides real time estimation like expected waiting time over different mediums like WhatsApp, SMS or other mobile application and accurate consultation time. It seamlessly integrates EHR workflow, quick dispensary disbursement, and centralized diagnostic solutions.

Athancare also collaborates with doctors very closely, helping them to facilitate in-house dispensaries and diagnostic services. We work for our doctors in simplifying their procurement, sales, inventory, and management of other such services.

How AthanCare is helping patients to stay safe and connected with their Doctors during Nationwide lockdown.

We are confronted with a nationwide lockdown due to the Corona virus outbreak and people are advised to stay home. In the midst of all this, we also have those patients who are suffering from chronic diseases and need to maintain regular check-ups and those who need urgent doctor attention.

Such situations, present a challenge for HealthTech Startups to deliver a solution to connect patients to care, providers which are both safe and efficient, AthanCare is ensuring to connect doctors and patients keeping in mind to provide the best online consultation experience and rewarding patient engagement.

With the on-going pandemic, AthanCare has stepped up by making sure that the same deliverable is maintained over their virtual-OPD platform and they have also introduced SOP for their clinics to make sure that those clinics do not become a point of spread among patients or from patient to doctor.

Achal Singhal says they are ensuring the safety of their doctors and patients who are in critical need and visiting clinics by providing safety kits at the clinic and also going to start fumigation and sanitization services in the coming days.

AthanCare helping masses in this Pandemic

As the counting of coronavirus patients are increasing day by day and new cases are coming on a daily basis, AthanCare has tied-up with multiple ICMR approved Labs for testing patients having coronavirus symptoms in multiple cities including Delhi/NCR. They have a dedicated helpline number to attend the queries of patients regarding the COVID-19 test and the same number is provided to their clinics for maximum outreach.

Apart from COVID-19 testing, AthanCare has also built a team of doctors with different specialties to provide free teleconsultation to patients across the nation, AthanCare circulates a dedicated helpline number for the same where patients can book their free consultation appointment with the concerned specialty Doctor. This service is free of charge and will continue as long as our nation is in a lock-down situation.
