But some people do not know about the immunity-boosting vegetables that also have health benefits. Let's discover five vegetables that help in boosting immunity

Broccoli – It is full of vitamins, and contains Vit A, C, and E. Along with this, it is also a good source of fibers. It also contains a high amount of antioxidant compounds. For these reasons, broccoli is considered the healthiest vegetable that promotes immunity. Broccoli contains other healthy nutrients like protein, calcium, and carbohydrates.

Ginger – It comprises many antiviral properties. The compound present in it is considered to be very effective in getting rid of cough, sore throat, and inflammatory diseases. Because of these effects, one should include ginger in your daily food. If ginger is taken with fennel or honey, then its results are much better. Ginger must be consumed 3-4 times a day to keep immunity strong. Other than this it is also helpful in lowering increased cholesterol and keeping it balanced.

Garlic - Garlic is also full of useful properties, its consumption provides many health benefits. It is full of antiviral properties. It restricts blood pressure and prevents the hardening of the arteries. Garlic can be eaten raw in winters in soups or in addition to salads. Consuming garlic with one spoon of honey boosts immunity in the body.

Spinach – Spinach contains vitamin C, a variety of antioxidants, and beta carotene. It increases our body's ability to fight against various infections. Spinach is also considered a very healthy option in terms of immunity-boosting.

Carrot – It boosts immunity naturally. Even food experts feel that carrots are a multi nutritional vegetable. It helps make our body strong and fight against all odds. 

Bell peppers - Apart from these, bell peppers, cabbage and brinjal also play an important role in boosting immunity. Bell peppers contain 3 times as much vitamin C as oranges have. Apart from boosting immunity, vitamin C also helps in glowing skin. It is also rich in beta carotene which the body converts into vitamin A that keeps the eyes healthy.
