In Karnataka 1185 new Covid cases were reported since yesterday and 1594 persons with Covid infection were discharged after recovery. The recovery rate is over 96 percent since over a week. There were 11 deaths reported due to Covid at the same time.

The numbers of active Covid cases have come down to 15,645 in the state out of which 253 are in ICU.

The state reported a positivity rate of 1.32 percent and fatality rate of point 92 percent yesterday. The Covid tests in the state yesterday were 89,530 out of which 74,260 were RT PCR tests. Bengaluru urban district with the highest active cases had reported 673 new Covid cases yesterday.
