In Telangana, 1481 new cases of COVID -19 have been reported during the past 24 hours. With this, the total COVID cases in the state went up 2 lakh 34 thousand 152 . The state conducted over 40 thousand tests yesterday.

 
The recovery rate has marginally improved to 91.78 per cent with 1451 more people recovering yesterday. This took the number of recovered people so far in the state to 2 lakh 14 thousand 917. Total deaths rose to 1319 following 4 more people succumbing during the past 24 hours.

Currently the state has over 17 thousand active cases out of which over 14 thousand are in home isolation.
