In Telangana, 1,531 new cases of COVID-19 were reported during the past 24 hours. With this, the total COVID cases in the state went up to two lakh 37 thousand 187.

In Telangana, 1,531 new cases of COVID-19 were reported during the past 24 hours. With this, the total COVID cases in the state went up to two lakh 37 thousand 187. The state conducted over 43 thousand tests yesterday.

The recovery rate was reported at 91.65 per cent with 1,048 more people recovering yesterday. This took the number of recovered people so far in the state to two lakh 17 thousand 401.
 

The daily bulletin issued by the State Medical and Health Department stated that total deaths rose to 1,330 following six more people succumbed to COVID and comorbidities during the past 24 hours. Currently, the state has nearly 18 thousand active cases out of which nearly 15 thousand are in home isolation.  

 
Meanwhile, 293 new COVID-19 cases were reported in Hyderabad while Medchal Malkajgiri and Ranga Reddy and Bhadradri Kothagudem districts reported around 100 new cases each. Khammam, Nalgonda, Karimnagar and Siddipet districts reported a considerably high number of COVID cases each during the past 24 hours.
