In Telangana, 1,536 new cases of COVID-19 were reported during the past 24 hours.

In Telangana, 1,536 new cases of COVID-19 were reported during the past 24 hours.

With this, the total COVID cases in the state went up to two lakh 42 thousand 506. The state conducted over 45 thousand tests yesterday.
 
 

The recovery rate continued to be at 92.12 percent with 1,421 more people recovering yesterday. This took the number of recovered people so far in the state to two lakh 23 thousand 413. The daily bulletin issued by the State Medical and Health Department stated that total deaths rose to 1,351 following three more people succumbing to COVID and comorbidities during the past 24 hours. Currently, the state has over 17 thousand active cases out of which over 14 thousand are in home isolation.  

 
Meanwhile, 281 new COVID-19 cases were reported in Hyderabad while Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Medchal Malkajgiri, and Ranga Reddy reported around a hundred new cases each, and Nalgonda, Karimnagar, and Warangal Urban districts reported a considerably high number of COVID cases each during the past 24 hours.
