It is the 2nd time Medulance is the official medical partner of the HPCA after its engagement there during last years ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup. India-England 5th Test Series is being hosted by the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) in the picturesque city of Dharamshala from March 7 to 12.

National, 12th March, 2024: In yet another collaboration aimed at ensuring the well-being of players and spectators at HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala, Medulance, a trusted emergency medical services provider, is providing on-ground medical support during the ongoing India-England Test Series at the picturesque venue. It is the second time Medulance is the official medical partner of the HPCA after its engagement here during last year's ICC World Cup. India-England Test Series is hosted by the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) at Dharamshala from March 7 to 12. Apart from match days, Medulance has also assisted the stadium on practice days from March 4 to 6.

 

The emergency healthcare provider’s comprehensive medical support includes on-ground services across the stadium's critical areas, such as the Field of Play area, Player Medical Room, Spectator Medical Room, and First Aid Points, positioned strategically across the venue. The emergency healthcare provider’s medical facilities include highly trained doctors, nurses, and paramedics, equipped to handle any medical situation effectively. In addition, 2 Advanced Life Support ambulances and 2 Basic Life Support ambulances are deployed to respond to emergencies immediately and ensure the best possible care.

During the ICC World Cup last year, Medulance secured the safety of players of international cricket teams, key dignitaries, on-ground staff, and over 20,000 spectators during every match.

 

The company provided commendable emergency response services for medical emergencies reported on the ground during the World Cup last year including stroke cases, heart attacks, fall injuries, and other such conditions. The company responded to all these emergencies in time and saved the day with an average response time of 2 minutes.

 

The platform's outstanding services earned praise from both spectators and esteemed dignitaries in attendance, including IPL Chairman Arun Singh Dhumal, Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Anurag Singh Thakur, Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, and Secretary of BCCI Jay Shah.
