In Andhra Pradesh 2,997 new COVID-19 positive cases have been recorded in the last 24 hours. 
 
Three thousand five hundred and eighty five persons have recovered in the State during the past 24 hours, as per the State COVID Nodal Officer, Vijayawada.

A total of 8,07,023 COVID positive cases have been recorded so far in Andhra Pradesh, and 7,69,576 persons have recovered and have been discharged from various COVID hospitals across the State. 30,860 persons are under COVID treatment. 

So far, 75,70,352 samples have been tested in the State and 6,587 COVID deaths reported in the State. The highest number of 492 positive cases have been recorded in West Godavari district followed by Chittoor district with 466 cases during the last 24 hours.
