During the last 24 hours 2,362 new covid cases were reported in the State taking the tally to 8,51,212

In Karnataka 31,063 active COVID-19 patients are currently taking treatment in various hospitals in the State among them 869 are in ICU. During the last 24 hours, 2,362 new covid cases were reported in the State taking the tally to 8,51,212.

At the same time, 4,215 people were recovered from the disease and discharged from various hospitals in the State and taking the total recoveries to 8,08,700.

20 Coronavirus patients lost their life and the total fatalities have increased to 11,430.

According to the State health bulletin 1,09,508 samples were tested during the last 24 hours and the total number of tests has gone up to 89,32,699.

Meanwhile, in the country, the Active Caseload has shrunk to 5,05,265. The present contribution of Active Caseload to India’s total positive cases stands at 5.88%, following a declining curve.

The Recovery Rate has also, as a consequence, increased to 92.64%. Total Recoveries as of today is 79,59,406. The gap between recovered cases and active cases has widened to 74,54,141. 78% of the new recovered cases are observed to be concentrated in 10 States/UTs.
