In Maharashtra, 3,556 new COVID-19 cases were reported today, taking the cumulative total to over 19,78,000. According to the State health department, 70 deaths were reported in the State taking the tally of deceased to 50,221. 

The case fatality rate in the State is 2.54 percent. 3,009 patients were discharged today taking the tally of recovered patients to over 18,74,000.

The recovery rate of the State now stands at 94.75 percent. As of today, there are over 52,000 active cases in the State.
