Over 6 crore 11 lakh doses of Covid-19 vaccine administered in country

Health Ministry has said that over 6 crores 11 lakh 13 thousand beneficiaries have been vaccinated till now in the country. It said, 56 thousand 211 new COVID19 cases have been reported in the last 24 hours, with this total cases reached 1 crore 20 lakh 95 thousand 855. In the last 24 hours, 37 thousand 28 people were discharged. With this, the total recoveries tally reached 1 crore 13 lakh 93 thousand 21. The recovery rate is now at 94.19 per cent.

Health Ministry said, 271 deaths reported in the last 24 hours. The death toll due to the pandemic has reached 1 lakh 62 thousand 114. The active cases in the country are now at 5 lakh 40 thousand 720.


Indian Council of Medical Research ICMR said 24 crores 26 lakh 50 thousand 25 samples have been tested till yesterday. It said 7 lakh 85 thousand 864 samples were tested yesterday.
