Banjara Hill, 10th March: Asian Institute of Nephrology and Urology (AINU), Banjara Hills, has revamped its Inpatient (IP) Block to significantly enhance patient comfort, convenience, and overall hospital experience. The upgraded IP block reflects AINU’s continued commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare in a patient-friendly environment. The upgraded facility was inaugurated by V. C. The facility has been strengthened with several advanced and dedicated services aimed at enhancing patient care and clinical outcomes. It now houses a Uro-Oncology Chemotherapy Unit to provide specialised treatment and comprehensive care for patients undergoing chemotherapy for urological cancers. The centre also features a dedicated Urodynamic Study (UDS) and advanced Video UDS facility for accurate diagnosis and evaluation of complex bladder and urinary disorders. In addition, a dedicated 8-bed Urology Daycare Unit has been established to support same-day procedures and short-stay treatments, ensuring greater convenience and comfort for patients.
The hospital is also equipped with high-end acute kidney care facilities to manage critical kidney conditions with timely intervention, while its Interventional Nephrology services enable minimally invasive procedures for the diagnosis and treatment of various kidney-related disorders. Together, these facilities significantly strengthen the institution’s capability to deliver comprehensive and advanced urological and nephrological care.
Chief Guest V. C. Sajjanar, IPS Commissioner of Police said, ““Healthcare infrastructure plays a vital role in ensuring the well-being of our citizens. The revamping of the IP block at AINU Banjara Hills reflects the institution’s commitment to enhancing patient comfort, safety, and access to advanced urological care.
