American Oncology Institute (AOI) at Nangia Specialty Hospital in Nagpur Launches Specialized Lung Cancer Unit for Comprehensive Care and Early Diagnosis

Lung cancer remains one of the leading causes of cancer-related deaths globally, and Nagpur is no exception. The city has witnessed a rise in lung cancer cases due to various factors such as smoking, environmental pollutants, and changing lifestyles. The launch of this specialized unit comes at a crucial time to address the increasing prevalence of lung cancer in the region.

Nagpur, 20th Dec 2023 – American Oncology Institute (AOI) at Nangia Specialty Hospital, takes a significant step forward in cancer care with the inauguration of a dedicated Lung Cancer Unit in Nagpur. This specialized unit aims to provide a comprehensive and integrated approach to diagnose and manage Lung Cancer effectively. The initiative aligns with AOI's commitment to delivering holistic and patient-centric cancer care. 

The Lung Cancer Unit will be spearheaded by esteemed Pulmonologist, Dr Deepak Muthreja, who brings a wealth of experience and expertise in pulmonary medicine. This multidisciplinary unit will comprise a team of specialized Oncologists (Radiation, Surgical, and Medical), Pathologists, and Radiologists. The collaboration among these experts will ensure a coordinated and personalized treatment approach for each patient.
