Three new cases of Covid-19 reported in Andaman and Nicobar Islands. All the three cases are in South Andaman District. On the first of this month, Andaman and Nicobar Islands had achieved the status of Corona free union territory.

A total of 4997 cases of Covid-19 reported so far in the islands out of which 4932 recovered while 62 deaths registered. The test positivity rate is 2.16 percent.

Meanwhile, the Covid-19 vaccination drive is going on. Till date a total of 3298 Health Workers have been vaccinated. Today is the last day for vaccination of Health Workers, after which the vaccine will be given to frontline workers.
