In Andhra Pradesh, 332 locations have been identified for the rollout of the COVID-19 vaccination and these numbers will be increased gradually to cover all the health facilities in the state. 
 

The state has received 4.7 lakh doses of Covishield vaccine developed by Serum institute of India and 20,000 doses of Covaxin developed by Bharat Biotech. 

 
Andhra Pradesh has been in the forefront of the vaccination programme.  Uttar Pradesh has the highest number of 21,291 people vaccinated, followed by Andhra Pradesh with 19,108. The Covid vaccination took place with full swing across the 13 Districts in Andhra Pradesh on Saturday and Sunday, receiving a very good response from the beneficiaries
