Ayushman Bharat Diwas Day-30th April 2021

We should aim for good health and achieve it for everyone around the world. In this initiative, The government of India launched the Ayushman Bharat Yojna plan to make healthcare available to remote areas for better health.

During these COVID times, access to healthcare is the most important thing. The government has been launching schemes for the betterment of people countrywide. The main focus is to provide good health for everyone. The Ayushman Bharat Diwas Day signifies that the government focuses on equal healthcare for all sections of society. 

Ayushman Bharat Diwas Day is celebrated countrywide on 30th April 2021. The Pradhan Mantri Arogya Yojana has completed a successful journey today. This day is celebrated as Ayushman Bharat Diwas Day across the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has initiated this Ayushman Bharat Diwas Day which is more than just a health scheme. It is a beacon of hope to more than 50 crores of India’s most vulnerable people. It is important to break the vicious cycle of poverty and disease while making health affordable and accessible. The Health Minister has also informed Ayushman Bharat-is the world’s largest government health care program. 

The initiative of Ayushman Bharat Yojana/Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana

Several initiatives are being taken by the government in India to work and improve the quality of healthcare service. It is important to improve the technology system and rationalize the health care packages for better health. The main aim is to provide universal healthcare to the needy and vulnerable sections of the country. The scheme is the world’s largest healthcare program which provides the health cover of vulnerable families and aims to provide benefits to 10 crore families all over the country. In the last year, more than 46 lakh beneficiaries have availed of cashless treatment under this scheme. This has resulted in saving for many crores of rupees. All the states and union territories are implementing this scheme for better health. More than 10 crore beneficiaries' cards have been issued. 

The mission of Ayushman Bharat Yojana/Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana

Ayushman Bharat Yojana/Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY) or National Health Protection Scheme is a centrally sponsored scheme launched in 2018 under the Ayushman Bharat Mission of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The scheme aims to make interventions for good quality healthcare and comprehensive health benefits for many vulnerable families who need both preventive and promotive health. A holistic approach to health for everyone is the need of the hour. It is the umbrella of two major health initiatives namely, Health and Wellness centers and National Health Protection scheme. 

Our motto of Right to Health 

“Right to health” is the basic right for every human being. Our constitution recognizes health as a fundamental right and gives access to good health to everyone is a must. Enough provisions should be made for “access to health” to every citizen of the country under directive principles. The right to health is a constitutional remedy and should be made available to all. The central and state government aim to provide health care throughout the country with various institutions and national health programs. There are many success stories coming with the journey of Ayushman Bharat Yojna
