Bank of India’s Mumbai South Zone recently organised the NRI Homecoming Celebrations at Garware Clubhouse, Mumbai, witnessing the participation of over 65 esteemed NRI customers.
Mumbai, 7th January 2026: Bank of India’s Mumbai South Zone recently organised the NRI Homecoming Celebrations at Garware Clubhouse, Mumbai, witnessing the participation of over 65 esteemed NRI customers.
 
The event was graced by the presence of the Bank’s senior leadership including Shri Rajneesh Karnatak, Managing Director & CEO; Shri Subrat Kumar, Executive Director; Shri Rajiv Mishra, Executive Director; Shri Sunil Sharma, Chief General Manager, FCGMO Mumbai; Shri Mukesh Sharma, General Manager, HO – Resources; Shri P. K. Sinha, General Manager, HO – Marketing & TPP, along with other senior executives from Head Office. Shri Shashikant Sadabhartiya, Zonal Manager, Navi Mumbai Zone also attended the programme.
 
Shri Madhukar, Zonal Manager, Mumbai South Zone, welcomed the dignitaries and guests and showcased the Bank’s comprehensive suite of NRI banking products and services, underlining Bank of India’s commitment to offering seamless, secure and digitally enabled solutions to Indians living overseas.
 
The Bank’s senior leadership highlighted the pivotal role of NRIs in driving India’s economic growth and nation-building, reaffirming the Bank’s commitment to serving Indians overseas as trusted partners in their financial journey and highlighted how Bank of India is leveraging digital platforms to make cross-border banking faster, safer and more convenient. They outlined the Bank’s growing suite of digital services for NRIs, including seamless online account opening, end-to-end digital remittance solutions, 24×7 mobile and internet banking, instant fund transfers, and dedicated NRI relationship support.
 
Emphasising the importance of strong long-term relationships, the leadership encouraged NRI families to deepen their association with the Bank by engaging the next generation with its global banking services — spanning savings, investments, home loans, trade and forex solutions — ensuring that families overseas continue to remain financially connected to India through Bank of India.
 
The Bank’s senior leadership, addressing the invitees, emphasised the vital contribution of NRIs to India’s economic growth and nation-building, while also sharing insights into the Bank’s digital initiatives aimed at enhancing customer experience. They encouraged NRI customers to strengthen their association with the Bank by introducing the next generation to Bank of India’s trusted banking ecosystem.
 
Bank of India, presently, has overseas presence in 15 foreign countries spread over 5 continents – with 47 branches/offices including 4 Subsidiaries, 1 Representative Office and 1 Joint Venture, at key banking and financial centres viz., Tokyo, Singapore, Hong Kong, London, Paris, New York, DIFC Dubai and International Banking Unit (IBU) at GIFT City Gandhinagar.
 
The programme concluded on a cheerful note with dinner and a musical performance, fostering warm engagement and reinforcing Bank of India’s strong and enduring relationship with its NRI customers.
