New Delhi, th June, 2026: BizDateUp, in partnership with actor Taher Shabbir and producer-director Ashutosh Shah, has made a strategic investment in Dent@Home, acquiring 25% stake in the company. Recently featured on Shark Tank India Season 5, the healthcare startup is pioneering portable and at-home dental care services for hospital-bound, homebound, immobile, and elderly patients. The investment will support the company's next phase of growth as it expands its bedside dental care model across India, with a focus on making professional oral healthcare more accessible, convenient, and patient-centric.

Dent@Home has been working towards bridging the gap in oral healthcare accessibility by offering professional emergency & critical dental services at patient's homes and hospital bed particularly for elderly individuals, people with mobility challenges, and those seeking convenient access to quality dental care. The company plans to further strengthen its service network, enhance customer experience, and expand its operational footprint across key markets.

The investment comes at a time when home-based healthcare services are witnessing growing adoption across India, driven by increasing senior citizens population, accessibility issues and personalized essential care. As healthcare delivery models continue to evolve to the increased youth immigration abroad and rising life expectancy, mobile healthcare solutions are emerging as an important component of elderly patient-centric care.

Commenting on the investment, Jyotir Jain, Director, BizDateUp Group, said, "At BizDateUp, we believe the most impactful businesses are those that solve everyday challenges through scalable and sustainable solutions. Dent@Home is transforming the way dental care is delivered by bringing quality treatment directly to elderly and immobile patients, making it more accessible, convenient, and inclusive. As elder consumer's needs continue to shift towards home-based healthcare, we see significant long-term potential in this model. Dent@Home has built a strong foundation with a clear purpose, and we are excited to partner with the team as they expand their reach and redefine oral healthcare accessibility across India."

Speaking on the development, Taher Shabbir said, “What drew both me and my partner, filmmaker-producer-director Ashutosh Shah, to Dent@Home was the simplicity, relevance, and scale of the problem it is solving. Access to quality healthcare should never be limited by age, mobility, or circumstance. Dent@Home has created a thoughtful and highly scalable model that addresses these barriers while maintaining a strong focus on patient care, dignity, and clinical quality.

As healthcare continues to evolve towards more personalized, accessible and home-based solutions, we believe platforms like Dent@Home will play an increasingly important role in shaping the future of healthcare delivery in India. Ashutosh and I are excited to support the company’s long-term vision and be part of a journey that has both meaningful social impact and immense growth potential.”

Dr. Prachi Deval, Founder and Director of Dent@Home added, "Since our inception, our focus has been on making quality dental care more accessible for people who may find it difficult to visit traditional clinics, including senior citizens and individuals with mobility challenges. This partnership marks an important step forward in that journey. Beyond supporting our expansion plans, it brings together strategic expertise, shared vision, and long-term commitment towards building a stronger and more accessible oral healthcare ecosystem. With this support, we aim to reach more patients, strengthen our service capabilities, and continue delivering a seamless, patient-first dental care experience."

With the growing demand and unmet need for home-based healthcare solutions in India, the investment is expected to strengthen Dent@Home’s expansion plans while enabling BizDateUp to further diversify its portfolio within the healthcare and wellness sector. Together, the partners aim to accelerate the adoption of technology-enabled, patient-centric dental care while expanding access to quality oral healthcare across both established and underserved markets in the country.
