BRIJ Hotels announced 4 million Series A investment by the Manipal Education & Medical Group Family Office, with strategic participation from investors including Abhay Jain, Abhiroop Jayanthi (MD of Bain Capital), Rajendra Rao, and Prashant Deshpande.Brij Hotels intends to leverage these funds for strategic expansion and to fortify its standing in the competitive hospitality industry by offering bespoke hyperlocal experiences. Operating on an asset-lite model, Brij Hotels engages in revenue-sharing agreements operations & and management contracts with property owners.
 National, 19 March 2023: Brij Hotels, a collection of distinguished boutique hotels, announced the successful closure of the 4 million Series A round led by the Manipal Education & Medical Group(MEMG) Family Office, with strategic participation from prominent investors including Abhay Jain, Abhiroop Jayanthi (MD of Bain Capital), Rajendra Rao, and Prashant Deshpande. This investment marks a crucial juncture for Brij Hotels, intending to utilise the funds for strategic expansion and to further strengthen its presence in the competitive hospitality industry.

The Indian consumer landscape is evolving with guests seeking unique experiences that blend luxury with local cultural immersion. According to a report by HVS ANAROCK, the global boutique hotel segment has experienced a remarkable growth rate of over 50% in the last three years.
