16th, April, 2024: Girnar Foundation, the CSR arm of CarDekho Group, recently organized comprehensive health check-up camps and health kit distribution drives in Jaipur and Gurugram. The initiative is aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (UNSDG) 3 for good health and well-being, adopted by the company.

Both the events in Jaipur and Gurugram left a significant impact on the communities, enhancing the overall well-being of over 300 children and equipping them with knowledge and resources to take charge of their health and hygiene. The Girnar Foundation has strengthened community engagement and support for health initiatives with these activities.

In Jaipur, the foundation organized a health check-up camp at the Bambala Government School in Haldighati, Pratap Nagar, where over 166 children received comprehensive dental and general health examinations. The camp featured a dental check-up by Dr. Shurbhi Sharma from Manan Dental Care and a general health examination by Dr. Madhur Jain from JK Loan Hospital. In Gurugram, the foundation collaborated with the CanWinn Foundation to organize a similar health check-up camp at Surya Nagar, Sector 9. Over 130 children received eye, dental, and general health examinations during the camp.

Additionally, at both camps, health kits containing dental and first-aid essentials were distributed to promote health and hygiene among the children. Volunteers also conducted educational sessions on the importance of maintaining health and hygiene, including the proper use of the distributed health kits.

Sharing her vision, Pihu Jain, Head of the Girnar Foundation, said, “We are driven by a steadfast commitment to creating a lasting positive impact on the communities we serve. Guided by the UNSDGs, we recognize that true progress hinges on a holistic approach that addresses the multifaceted needs of society. Our health check-up camps in Jaipur and Gurugram align with our belief that access to quality healthcare is a fundamental right, not a privilege. By empowering children with the knowledge and resources to lead healthy lives, we are investing in their future and the prosperity of our nation.”

The foundation's commitment to promoting health, education, gender equality, sustainable communities, and climate action aligns with CarDekho Group's broader corporate social responsibility initiatives.
